The rice was brown and took thirty minutes to cook, so by the time that was ready, most of the sauce had evaoporated leaving the chicken breasts coated in this thick, sweetish sauce, but it wasn't sitting in a pool of the sauce, if you know what I mean. Gosh, this is hard to explain.
Although, the sauce was so nice that even if the chicken had been swimming in the stuff, it would have gone very nicely with the rice. It didn't smell fantastic (but that might have been because the mustard I used was wholegrain mustard with Guiness in it) but it tasted great.
